As a consistent patron of the forge i have yet to encounter less than stellar service. They are known for their wings (annual wing fling champion) and obviously their beer selection which includes domestic, local, and micro breweries from across the country. Different kegs are shuffled in and out as they are used, so a new beer is sure to be there every day of the week (along with their extensive beer and wine selection from the cooler). The atmosphere is warm and vibrant as the Forge is a local pub favorite with unique decorations of plaques, pictures, local traditions and coasters from across the globe. Often going underestimated is their menu; which most mainly mistake for only containing quality wings. There is however a vast variety of quality food that is served up in their own unique (and delicious) way. Without a doubt the forge is a must have for any tourist or local with room in their stomachs and a night worth remembering (or not remembering based on your beer consumption).

the wings were good and the service was fair but there was a definite lack of warmth from the staff.

gallons and gallons of all sorts of beer. Imports and exports. Lots of fun.

The wings are what they are known for and they're OK, but the HORRIBLE service and attitudes of the hostess AND the owner make this place unbearable! They make you feel like you are imposing on them by being there. They do have a wide variety of beer, but not enough to make up for the lack of service. They also don't take reservations which makes it hard to go there anytime other than 4:30pm. If you want to totally waste an evening, go to the Forge.
