Shiro used to be my favorite restaurant in the Berkshires and my friends/family and I visited frequently. One day I decided to take my two young daughters there so they could enjoy the hibachi experience because I knew they would love it, and we were treated so rudely, like it was an inconvenience to have them there. They barely did any "show" at all...just cooked our food and left. I was furious and complained to the manager but was so flippant that I have never been back. I could certainly understand if I had unruly children, but I was so disappointed that they weren't treated with respect that I will NEVER go back there again. Be advised...NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY.

I love shiro! Excellent food. The Pittsfield location is great as well. Love bento box lunches and I love the sweet potato rolls. My choice for sushi in the berks.

Loving the new location in Pittsfield. Sushi is top notch and really appreciate their efforts to have live music on weekends.
